The older generation is passing them an estate complete with its own school of sturgeon whose delicate caviar is highly prized. By the time Stella and Everett realize the endangered fish are missing, their elderly relatives have fled town. Although marrying Everett seems to offer Stella a life of easy luxury, she knows he just wants her inheritance, not a tangle of legal threats.

Yet even when Stella can’t offer him much besides the last jar of caviar, Everett confesses that he likes her more than is strictly convenient. Before anybody else ends up in jail over fish crimes, Stella decides to go after the most valuable catch in the world… and the slippery chance at a real marriage.

Author Julia Byrd lives and writes in Chicago with her handsome dog and scruffy husband. Her first two books are both Gothic romances. Caviar Marriage is her first contemporary romance, and she’s currently at work on another. She enjoys working with other people’s kids, baking beautiful treats, exercising, and reading.
